ResinTech (Aries) General Softening Filter
Hard or “alkaline” water contains minerals like calcium and magnesium that can reduce soap lather, make cleaning harder, and cause scale buildup in pipes and appliances. Softening cartridges work by using an ion exchange process to remove these minerals from the water.
The ResinTech, formerly known as Aries, General Softening cartridge uses ResinTech® CNS, a high-capacity resin designed for water softening where free chlorine is not present. It effectively removes hardness minerals, including dissolved iron, by exchanging positively charged ions—resulting in softer water that’s better for both household and commercial use.
